Hot off the press!
Thanks for visiting our new website. We hope that it has been helpful
to you in your search for the perfect water feature or
waterwall. Please remember that we offer both indoor and outdoor water
features for both residential and commercial applications.
New Product Development
Living Water Designs have recently completed this variation on one
of our most specialised water features. The pictures at the link below are of a
bubble panel which is laying horizontally above the entranceway to a
private residence on the Gold Coast. In this project we varied our
standard 'bubble bar' design to allow the entire panel to be
see-through. This water feature measured approximately 3600mm long x
2300mm wide, and was designed to meet our client's brief; which was to
have minimal maintenance, a modern design to suit the building, and to
be designed to fit within the already constructed entranceway roofline.
The link below shows one of our largest water features to date.
There a two of these 'routed acrylic' waterwalls now completed and
located on the main gaming floor of Conrad Jupiters Casino on the Gold
Coast.
IAqua - Australian 1st in Water Features!
This exciting new product, IAQUA, transforms the watery surface of
a soothing, natural waterfall into an audiovisual experience with
digital Imagery and clarity. Essentially a waterfall information
system, that allows you to project images from a DVD player or PC.
New LED Technology
The world of LED lighting is an incredibly fast evolving and
exciting one, and we are proud to be working with our LED lighting
partners - ElectronicFX - in incorporating this new technology into our water features. The benefits of LED lighting include the following:
-
LED's use extremely small amounts of power compared to conventional halogen globes.
-
LED's do not get anywhere near as hot as halogen globes do.
-
LED's come in several varieties of white, or also colour
changing globes, which can be programmed to run a myriad of different
programs.
-
LED's have an extremely long life span compared to halogen
globes. Where halogen globes last for only approximately 500 hours,
LED's are rated to 50,000 hours!!!
At present, we are using LED globes in our submersible light
housings for our free-standing aquafalls, as well as LED ribbon in our
custom water features to add that little extra flare.
